I am using Windows, and noticed my internet speed is slow when using Loupedeck. How do I fix this?

Problem

If your internet speed slows down when your Loupedeck console is connected to your computer, this is normal. Your internet speed will go back to normal once your Loupedeck is disconnected. Learn how to optimize your internet speed with the following steps.

Solution

  • Open Settings -> Network & Internet -> Status
  • Click the Change Adapter options item.
  • Right-click on Ethernet 2 and select Properties.
  • Click the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4) and select Properties.
  • At the end of the window, click Advanced... button.
  • Manually set the Interface metric to 1000 and click OK.
  • Confirm these steps with the additional OK button and close the Ethernet 2 Properties.
