This article explains how to correctly install an older version of Loupedeck software, when already running a newer one.
We recommend to always run the latest software versions of editing apps and of Loupedeck software to avoid any compatibility issues.
Before installing an older software version, we recommend to uninstall the currently used Loupedeck software version.
WINDOWS
- Quit Loupedeck by right-clicking on Loupedeck icon in the System tray
- Select Stop Loupedeck
- Close down any editing or streaming apps
- Type "Add or Remove programs" in the Start search window
- Locate Loupedeck and select to uninstall the app
- Download an older software version from this link or from a link provided by our Support team
- Run the installer
- Restart your PC
macOS
- Quit Loupedeck by clicking on Loupedeck icon at the top menu bar
- Select Stop Loupedeck
- Close down any editing or streaming apps
- Open Application folder on your Mac and drag Loupedeck app to the trash bin
- Download an older software version from this link or from a link provided by our Support team
- Run the installer
- Restart your Mac
