New Icon Editor & Icon Library

How to customize your icons with the new icon editor or using existing icons from the icon library in v. 6.0.2 and up

The Loupedeck icon system has undergone a comprehensive update, now featuring support for SVG icons by default. This enhancement allows users to customize icon colors when using SVG icon files.

Opening the icon editor

You can personalize your Loupedeck experience with your own icons or use ready-made icons from the icon library.

  1. Click on the action you want to update with your own icon. This opens the action editor to the lower part of the action panel.
  2. Click on the icon-area of your selected action
  3. Icon editor opens in the middle of the Loupedeck software.

Icon Editor Preview

The default icon library includes selected Loupedeck icons. Additional sampler packs by other icon providers can be installed through the Loupedeck Marketplace. You can install and uninstall icon packs through the Add-On Manager.

The process of converting all system and custom action icons to SVG format is ongoing, with more icons set to be added soon. In the meantime, the Loupedeck icon libraries have already been upgraded to SVG, enabling users to take advantage of these new icons right away.

Note that most of the icon packs that are in the marketplace are still using PNG:s, meaning that their color cannot be changed. Note that editing options are not available for GIF icons at this time.

Icon size: minimum 116x116, recommended up to 256x256
