Important Steps for Updating your Loupedeck Software to 6.0
- Update Your Loupedeck Software: To maintain functionality, download and install the latest version of Loupedeck software. Download the latest version here.
- Reinstall Plugins: After updating, most of the plugins will need to be reinstalled to ensure they work with the new Logi Plugin Service. The most commonly used plugins have been included in the Loupedeck software installer, while the remaining plugins can be downloaded directly from the Marketplace. Unfortunately, not all plugins will be available immediately, you may have to wait for an updated plugin by the plugin developer.
User Profiles and Backup Recommendations: Your user profiles will remain intact after the update. However, you might notice broken actions in your profiles if they rely on plugins that are no longer installed or if there has been a major update in the plugin. Once you reinstall the missing plugins and reassign the actions that do not seem to respond, everything should work as usual.
Backup Your Profiles:
To be extra cautious, we recommend exporting your profiles before updating to version 6.0. This ensures you have a backup in case any issues arise. Learn how to export your profiles here.
