What to do if I get "Login Failed" Error?

If you get Login Failed Error when logging into Loupedeck account in Loupedeck application, please proceed with the following troubleshooting steps

 

If you see the following error message in Loupedeck application, follow the instructions based on your OS

 

Windows

  • Stop Loupedeck software by clicking on Loupedeck icon in the System tray and select Stop Loupedeck
  • Locate this folder on your PC: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Loupedeck\Temp\msal

The AppData folder may be hidden. Please check the Hidden items box in View tab to see it.

  • Delete file called msalchache.bin
  • Start Loupedeck
  • Log into your Loupedeck account to access Marketplace and other features

 


 

macOS

  • Stop Loupedeck software by clicking on the small Loupedeck icon at the top menu bar and select Stop Loupedeck
  • Locate this folder on your Mac: Users\YourUserName\.local\share\Loupedeck\Temp\msal

Please note the .local folder is hidden and you need to press "cmd + shift + dot" to see it.

  • There is a file called msalchache.bin - please delete this file
  • Start Loupedeck
  • Log into your Loupedeck account to access Marketplace and other features
