Final Cut Pro Color Wheels are not working.

If there's no response when the Color Wheels with your Loupedeck console in Final Cut Pro, learn what to do.

To start working with color wheels, please enable them in the settings:

  1. Open Final Cut Pro X
  2. Go to Final Cut Pro -> Preferences -> General -> Color Correction
  3. Select “Color Wheels” and accept

Loupedeck needs sufficient permissions on your computer to send certain types of commands.

  • Open System Preferences
  • Select Security & Privacy
  • Select Privacy
  • Go to Accessibility
  • Find Loupedeck and tick the box and apply
Some macOS versions require adding Loupedeck in the Automation settings (System preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Automation), check that the System Event box is ticked under Installer.
Note!
In latest FCP version 10.5.3, the "Master" color wheel has been renamed by Apple to "Global".
Loupedeck reflects that update in their software version 4.3 and later.
In case you're running FCP 10.4.3 or older, you will need to install Loupedeck software version 4.2.6 in order to be able to adjust color wheels.
